Op success
After spending all year riding with an injury James has had a bone graft to his left ankle. The decision to operate was taken at the Croft race as the x-rays clearly showed a big hole in the bone. The operation took place at Leeds before Christmas and was performed by Mr Toby Branfoot the BSB doctor. The operation involved taking some bone from his pelvis and grafting this onto his ankle where there was already an expanse of scar tissue restricting bone fusion. With the bone on its way to being healed James can look forward to riding at his best and not worrying about his weak ankle. James now has 3 months to become fully fit for the first round at Brands Hatch on 4th of April 2008.
